Ask an Expert: A Live Q&A Series | Diet and Kidney Health
Join us for another edition of TGH's "Ask an Expert: A Live Q&A Series" where our subject matter expert in diet and kidney health will take your pre-submitted & live questions.
Description
Food choices play a powerful role in kidney health—especially for people managing conditions that require more individualized nutrition guidance. This “Ask an Expert” live stream will explore how everyday diet and hydration choices can support kidney health and help you make more confident decisions at home or out to eat.
Whether you’re living with kidney stones, chronic kidney disease, kidney cancer, or you’ve had a nephrectomy, this session will offer practical, evidence‑based guidance you can use from the grocery store to the kitchen.
Join Karina Falcone, MS, RD, LD, DipACLM, Nutrition Education & Program Manager with the USF Department of Urology, as she answers your pre‑submitted and live questions and addresses common misconceptions around kidney‑friendly eating. Karina works closely with urology patients, helping tailor nutrition recommendations to specific diagnoses—from foods and beverages to limit, to hydration strategies that can make all the difference.
The live presentation will be on TGH's Facebook page and YouTube channel from 12:30- 1:00 p.m. Please register to pre-submit any questions.
