Heart & Vascular Institute Amputation Support Group
The TGH Heart & Vascular Institute Amputation Support Group provides a safe and supportive environment for current and former patients living with limb loss or limb difference as well as their caregivers and family members.
Description
The TGH Limb Preservation-PAD Program) is proud to provide a new Amputation Support Group. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals living with limb loss or limb difference as well as their family members. This will be an invaluable place for participants to connect with each other and share similar challenges and how they have overcome these setbacks. This environment will allow the opportunity for expression of feelings, share experiences, learn helpful information, and most importantly, learn they are not alone. This will be our first Amputation Support Group for our institute led by our Limb Preservation-PAD Program Medical Director, Dr. Charles Bailey. The meeting is free for all participants, and we highly encourage feedback to better our services.
Registration is required for each meeting to ensure accommodation is available for those who attend.
