Active Living with Chronic Pain is an online interactive program for people experiencing any type of chronic pain and their caregivers. Participants learn to live a healthier life with issues related to chronic pain. The program is a condensed version of the Chronic Pain Self-Management Program.
Description
Active Living with Chronic Pain is a virtual interactive group program for people experiencing any type of chronic pain and their support team of caregivers and loved ones to learn how to live a healthier life with issues related to chronic pain. Chronic pain conditions can dramatically impact lives and emotions and last over 3 to 6 months. This often includes orthopedic issues like musculoskeletal, nerve, or pelvic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, repetitive strain injury, and post-surgical pain that persists after tissues have healed. This 6-session program may also benefit individuals with conditions such as neuralgias, Crohn’s disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Each weekly session covers different topics and is highly interactive, where mutual support and success build participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active, fulfilling lives.
