HCM Support Group
The experts at Tampa General Hospital and USF Health invite you to learn more about Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in a special lecture panel and meet and greet of the multidisciplinary team who care for patients with this specific condition.
Description
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a complex condition that causes your heart muscle to thicken (hypertrophy). It can affect people at any age and is a major cause of sudden death in young people. While it is the most common genetically inherited heart condition, many patients are undiagnosed and report no symptoms. As the heart muscles thicken over time, some patients can develop symptoms and life-threatening heart rhythms.
The experts at Tampa General Hospital and USF Health invite you to learn more about Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in a special lecture panel and meet and greet of the multidisciplinary team who care for patients with this specific condition. This lecture will provide a broad overview of HCM and its treatment options. It offers attendees the opportunity to ask their questions live and to meet other patients living with this condition.
