Cancer Support Community
Tampa General Hospital’s Cancer Support Community is designed to benefit people living with cancer: patients, family members, caregivers, and close friends.
Description
Looking for connection, understanding, and support? Each month, our group explores a specific theme relevant to your cancer journey, beginning with a brief presentation, followed by a facilitated discussion where patients share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
This is a space for real conversation, not just listening. A professionally trained facilitator guides each session to keep the discussion focused and ensure a safe, respectful environment.
We meet on the fourth Thursday of most months. Registration is required as space is limited — you'll receive a meeting link once you register. For all cancer-related inquiries, please contact your oncology provider.
For additional information, please call the TGH Oncology Psychology team at 813-844-7585 or email cancersupportgroup@tgh.org with any questions.
Technology requirements: internet access and a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with video camera, microphone, and speaker capabilities.
