The Colorectal Cancer Support Group at Tampa General Hospital offers a safe, supportive space for patients, families, and caregivers to connect and share their experiences.
Description
Join us for a supportive and welcoming space for anyone impacted by colorectal cancer—whether you’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, a survivor, or a caregiver. This quarterly group offers an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and access helpful resources to navigate the physical, emotional, and practical aspects of living with or supporting someone with colorectal cancer.
We are proud to have the support of Jorge Marcet, MD, Director, Division of Colorectal Surgery, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Medical Director, Susan & John Sykes Center of Excellence in Colorectal Cancer, TGH Cancer Institute Bobby Jacobsen Endowed Chair in Colorectal Surgery, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, who champions this group and its mission to provide compassionate, expert-backed support for our community.
When: The 4th Tuesday of January, April, July, and October
Time: 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Where: In person at Feeding Tampa Bay (Causeway Center) or virtually via Microsoft Teams
Refreshments: Dinner provided for in-person attendees
Attend in person and enjoy a meal with us or join virtually — a Teams link will be provided upon registration.
