Sleep Support Group
A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic) is the official support group of the American Sleep Apnea Association. A.W.A.K.E support groups provide education and resources for sleep disorder patients and CPAP users across the nation.
Description
The A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic) Sleep Support Group at Tampa General Hospital offers quarterly presentations by sleep disorder specialists from the TGH Sleep Center, a Q&A session, and networking for sleep disorder patients.
Each meeting we will cover various sleep topics, encouraging (but not requiring) our participants to share their experiences and ask questions to enable an interactive discussion. Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, Eating and Sleep, Exercise and Sleep, and Sleep and Overall Health are examples of our lecture topics presented at these informative meetings. Family and friends are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be served.
See event dates and topics below to register for any session(s) you’d like to attend. Please note: the first session is in Sun City Center and the next three are in Tampa. All will be offered virtually on Microsoft Teams as well if you cannot attend in person.
We look forward to seeing you at our 2026 meetings!
