The Workplace Chronic Disease Self-Management Program is an online interactive group program for individuals with any type of chronic disease, their caregivers, and concerned friends or family members. It has been adapted to meet the needs of working professionals.
Description
Nearly half of American adults live with chronic diseases, which can reduce quality of life at home and work. These conditions include anxiety, arthritis, balance issues, respiratory problems, cancer, and heart disease. The Workplace Chronic Disease Self-Management program, developed at Stanford University, is an evidence-based, online group program offering 12 interactive sessions for individuals with chronic conditions, their caregivers, and supportive friends or family.
Topics cover strategies for balancing work and home life, and managing symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and emotional challenges.

Technology requirements: Internet access, computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with video, microphone, and speaker capabilities.
