Newborn Development 101: What to expect in the first months and beyond
Tampa General Hospital is proud to offer an infant education class for parents-to-be and new parents, to learn about what to expect in their newborn’s early development.
Description
Becoming a parent for the first time can come with a lot of questions. We are here to help and provide information and resources for your parenthood journey! This informative class is designed to help parents understand the key milestones of early development, focusing on speech, gross motor, fine motor, and feeding skills in infants. Parents will learn what to expect in the first few months of life and how to support their child’s growth in these critical areas. By the end of the session, parents will have a deeper understanding of what is considered typical in early development, as well as practical tips and strategies to support their child’s growth. Parents will leave feeling more confident in their ability to monitor their child’s milestones and to foster a healthy developmental environment at home.
This event is free and light refreshments will be served.
