Chronic Pain Self-Management Program
An online, interactive group program for people experiencing any type of chronic pain, their caregivers, concerned friends and family members. Learn to live a healthier life with issues associated with chronic pain.
Description
Chronic pain conditions can include, but are not limited to, orthopedic muscular-skeletal pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, repetitive strain injury, chronic pelvic pain, post-surgical pain that lasts beyond 6 months, neuropathic pain or neuralgias, and post stroke pain. This 6-session workshop may also benefit those who have conditions such as persistent headaches, Crohn’s disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Weekly sessions are highly interactive, where mutual support and success build the participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. Seating is limited and registration is required or central.
Technology requirements:
Internet access, computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with video, microphone, and speaker capabilities, and Microsoft Teams in browser or app.
