Cancer: Thriving and Surviving
This is an interactive group workshop for cancer survivors, their support team of caregivers, family, and friends to learn how to live a healthier life as a cancer survivor.
Description
Completing cancer treatment is both an exciting milestone and a source of stress. Cancer: Thriving and Surviving, developed by Stanford University’s Self-Management Resource Center, is an online group workshop designed for cancer survivors and their support networks, including caregivers, family, and friends. The program features six (6) sessions that cover a range of topics focused on adapting to life after treatment and promoting healthier living as a cancer survivor. Each session builds on the previous one, addressing common challenges survivors face, such as physical, emotional, and psychological changes following treatment. Participants have the opportunity to rebuild confidence and develop strategies for adjusting to a “new normal” and embracing a healthier lifestyle post-cancer.
Please note: there are several breaks during each session.
Once registration closes, you will receive a link to attend this workshop on Microsoft Teams.
