Community Vaccine Education Seminars & Clinics
Tampa General Hospital and Grace Community Medical Center have been awarded a grant by the National Council on Aging to help older adults learn more about the importance of vaccines and get vaccinated.
Description
Tampa General Hospital and Grace Community Medical Center are partnering to make it as easy as possible for adults and people with disabilities to get their updated vaccinations and protect their health. Education events and vaccine clinics will be conducted at various sites throughout Hillsborough & Pasco Counties. Services such as transportation and appointment scheduling are available to ensure adults and those with disabilities can get the latest COVID-19 booster and flu vaccine. For more information on these services, please call 813-930-5642.
While the COVID-19 public health emergency is ending, the virus remains a real danger for older adults, especially those with chronic conditions who are at greater risk of complications.
Registration is required for upcoming education events and vaccine clinics. Attendees will be entered into a chance drawing for a gift card.
