Post-cancer treatment of any type can be both a relief and stressful. This six-week workshop course for breast cancer survivors can help the patient, family members, caregivers, and concerned friends cope with many of the issues that can occur.
The final stages of any breast cancer treatments can be both a relief and yet be very stressful. Many cancer survivors find themselves having a difficult time dealing not only with the effects of treatment and physical changes that can occur, but also the chronic nature of this condition. If you are a breast cancer survivor affected by some of these issues, you, your family, and/or caregivers may learn practical techniques to deal with these issues. The sessions encourage lots of group participation where mutual support and success builds participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health. Each session covers different topics.
