Doula training to support your clients in the operating room and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Description

We are excited to provide the opportunity for doulas to closely collaborate with TGH Labor and Delivery professionals, including anesthesia providers and obstetricians in the operating room and PACU.  The Doula's role will be to support client-centered care practices including skin to skin for individuals experiencing a cesarean birth.  Only doulas that have completed the training will be permitted to attend a birth in the OR with their client.
