Heart Valve Today, Home Tomorrow
In Heart Valve Today, Home Tomorrow attendees will focus on signs and symptoms of aortic stenosis and treatment options for the disease.
Description
Did you know there are 250,000 people that are diagnosed with aortic
stenosis in the United States annually? Many of whom do not know they
are living with a problem. This seemingly silent disease can significantly
impact a person’s day-to-day living. Advances in modern medicine have
now given patients an opportunity to get a new heart valve today and be
back home tomorrow.
In recognition of National Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day, join us for an
in-person event with our subject matter expert, Dr. Hiram Bezerra, medical
director of TGH Interventional Cardiology Center of Excellence and
professor at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, and the
Interventional Cardiology team, who will discuss the signs and symptoms
of aortic stenosis, as well as current available treatment options. Attendees
will have the opportunity to ask pre-submitted and live questions to
Dr. Bezerra during a Q&A session.
